Bonding Marble to White Cement

How to Bond Marble? 

Choose a high-quality adhesive to glue your marble and ensure that the surfaces to be glued are dust-free. Before bonding, dry fit the pieces. Apply marble glue to the white cement surface you are working on. Work at a quick pace. Clamp the marble pieces and the cement surface together. Allow the adhesive to cure for the appropriate amount of time. Finally, clean up any excess glue from the surface. 

Gluing Marble 

Because the strongest marble glues dry quickly, you may not have enough time to coast through the gluing process. You will want to make sure you know exactly how you intend to approach the task. Cartridge glue is ideal for this because it is easily dispensed and can be run directly where the glue is needed. Cartridges are also pre-dosed, so you do not have to make a batch of glue only to waste a portion of it after it has sat for a while. After applying the adhesive, clamp the pieces into place, allow them to sit, and cure. Wipe any excess adhesive off the marble while the glue is still wet to make cleanup easier later. De-roping is another simple method for removing excess marble glue. A razor blade is an excellent tool for de-roping marble while it is being glued.
