BOTAŞ was established in 1974 to transport oil through pipelines. In order to meet the increasing energy need in our country, it has also started its activities related to natural gas trade and transportation since 1986. Based on this, Tuz Gölü Natural Gas Underground Storage Project is being carried out in Sultanhanı district of Aksaray province, approximately 40 km south of Tuz Gölü. In the first phase of this project, we worked with China Thianchen Engineering Corporation. As Emin Construction Inc., it has done the construction of surface facilities, drilling locations, pumping stations and asphalt roads. Emin Construction Inc. also supported the CAMCE- İçtaş partnership as a subcontractor in the second phase of the expansion project.
